Daniel J. Landrigan
EVP & CFO
has devoted nearly three decades of his professional career to helping develop strategy and drive execution for the financial and risk taking activities of Medical Protective. In addition to his Risk role at Medical Protective, Dan served as the Portfolio Risk Leader for GE Insurance Solutions' Healthcare business (2004-05).
Dan joined Medical Protective in 1983. Over the next 17 years he held a variety of financial positions of increasing responsibility, concentrating on the development of risk analytics around core insurance operations as well as execution within the financial function. In 1988, Dan was named Treasurer with accountability for all financial and analytical functions. In 1998, he facilitated the financial due diligence process that resulted in Medical Protective's acquisition by GE.
Dan began his professional career with Ernst & Whinney, where he was a member of the audit team and worked with clients in a variety of industries including insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, and education.
Dan earned a BS from Indiana University in 1980. He is a CPA and achieved the AIAF designation from the Insurance Institute of America.
