Medical Protective Delays Payment Requirements, Suspends Cancellations Due to South Dakota Emergency Order
June 16, 2011 – In response to the recent flooding in South Dakota, and in accordance with Bulletin 11-05 and Order by the South Dakota Director of the Department of Labor and Regulation, Medical Protective will temporarily postpone all premium payments for insureds in affected counties. In addition, a temporary suspension of cancellations and non-renewals for the insureds will also be in effect.
