This webinar provides a high-level overview of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ's) TeamSTEPPS® program. TeamSTEPPS is designed to enhance healthcare teamwork and communication in an effort to improve patient safety and optimize patient outcomes.

At the conclusion of this program, you should be able to:

  • Identify the role of communication in healthcare litigation.
  • List three essential elements for making TeamSTEPPS effective.
  • Evaluate your organization's likelihood of effectively implementing TeamSTEPPS.

MedPro Group is pleased to offer insureds an opportunity to earn continuing medical education (CME) hours. There is no cost for this test or the corresponding CME credit. Please make sure you have viewed the webinar completely before taking this test. If you pass the test with a score of 80 percent or higher, you will be issued one CME credit and can print a copy of the CME certificate for your education files. If you previously completed this program, you will not receive credit for completing this program again.

NOTE: You will be allowed to take the test only once. If you leave the session without having submitted the test, the content cannot be saved. Additionally, the test will time out after about 15 minutes of inactivity. If this occurs, you must wait approximately 2 hours before attempting to take the test again. This allows the system sufficient time to reset.
