MedPro Group’s Social Media Disclaimers

Online Purpose

MedPro Group (“MedPro”) is dedicated to engaging the healthcare community through the use of social media. MedPro recognizes the importance of these online conversations and is committed to maintaining a professional social media presence.

The term social media can be used in various ways. We are defining social media as any tool or service that facilitates primarily public conversations over the internet. This applies not only to widely popular platforms such as Facebook®, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but to other platforms such as YouTube™, blogs, and Wikipedia.

Through our use of social media, we strive to maintain:

  • Honesty: We’re committed to representing our company truthfully and with integrity.
  • Quality: Company posts seek to be thoughtful and purposefully aligned with our company goals.
  • Creativity: We aim to post thoughtful content that will engage and delight our audience.
  • Originality: We do our best to ensure our content is original and engaging.

  1. Be aware that the Internet is a public space and all interaction may be publicly viewable and searchable over time.
  2. MedPro uses other means of communication in addition to social media; no critical information will be communicated solely through social media—traditional channels will also be used.
  3. To the extent that any MedPro social media account follows or is followed, mentions or is mentioned by, or interacts with other accounts on any social media, such following, mentioning, or interaction does not represent an endorsement or affiliation of any kind with the accounts, the owners, or their content, products, or services.
  4. To provide convenient access to items of interest, MedPro will often provide links to non-MedPro resources across various social media.
    1. MedPro claims no responsibility for the content at such non-MedPro sites, and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from such content.
    2. The sharing of any third-party content is in no way an endorsement of that third-party or the goods, services, or content they provide.
  5. MedPro reserves all rights relating to its social media accounts including, but not limited to, all rights to add, remove, or modify any content or material posted on the account, discontinue the account, accept or reject those who may wish to follow the account and respond to any questions or comments addressed to the account.
  6. For any User Content that you submit or share with us, you grant MedPro a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable right and license to use, copy, modify, delete, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, sell and distribute such User Content, and to incorporate such User Content in any form, medium or technology throughout the world, all without compensation to you. For this reason, do not post or share any User Content that you do not wish to license to MedPro. In addition, you grant MedPro the right to include the name provided with the User Content you have posted.
  7. Direct messages to or from MedPro through social media accounts are not considered to be correspondence. “Correspondence” constitutes communications written, faxed, or emailed that include the intended recipient’s proper name and mailing or email address. Such correspondence will be answered promptly and in accordance with MedPro’s policies and practices.
  8. Should any questions arise regarding MedPro’s use of any digital or social media, please contact the company’s Social Media Manager, Taryn Wieland,
