MedPro Group's Digital Marketing Policy

Online Purpose

As the nation's leading healthcare liability insurance carrier, MedPro Group is dedicated to engaging the healthcare community through the use of social media. We understand that online social media is an increasingly important means for communicating with policyholders, as well as the broader healthcare community and those who support it (our "Online Audience"). We recognize the importance of contributing to these online conversations and are committed to participating in social and digital media the right way. Through our use of social media and online platforms, we strive to:

  • Provide engaging content to our Online Audience on their digital devices.
  • Maintain healthy and reciprocal relationships with our Online Audience.
  • Build brand strength and awareness through smart, effective, and emotive messaging.
  • Expand audience, interaction, and conversation in a positive and productive manner.

  1. Be aware that the Internet is a public space and all interaction may be publicly viewable and searchable over time.
  2. MedPro uses other means of communication in addition to social media; no critical information will be communicated solely through social media—traditional channels will also be used.
  3. To the extent that any MedPro social media account follows or is followed, mentions or is mentioned by, or interacts with other accounts on any social media, such following, mentioning, or interaction does not represent an endorsement or affiliation of any kind with the accounts, the owners, or their content, products, or services.
  4. To provide convenient access to items of interest, MedPro will often provide hyperlinks to non-MedPro resources across various social media.
    1. MedPro claims no responsibility for the content at such non-MedPro sites, and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from such content.
    2. The sharing of any third-party content is in no way an endorsement of that third-party or the goods, services, or content they provide.
  5. MedPro reserves all rights relating to its social media accounts including, but not limited to, all rights to add, remove, or modify any content or material posted on the account, discontinue the account, accept or reject those who may wish to follow the account and respond to any questions or comments addressed to the account.
  6. Direct messages to or from MedPro through social media accounts are not considered to be correspondence. "Correspondence" constitutes communications written, faxed, or emailed that include the intended recipient's proper name and mailing or email address. Such correspondence will be answered promptly and in accordance with MedPro's policies and practices.
  7. Should any questions arise regarding MedPro's use of any digital or social media, please contact Andrew Booth.
